Soul Linker

Soul Linker turns the Taekwon line away from kicks and into Spirit, Ka-, and Es-type magic. It can support entire parties with class-specific links, defensive Ka buffs, and utility control while still dealing strong single-target damage through Esma-based casting.

This build fights in melee with daggers while using Mild WindMild Wind to exploit elements and KaahiKaahi to convert incoming normal hits into sustain. It is the lowest-investment route when you want to solo comfortably without fully committing to pure casting.



The build benefits from balanced STR and AGI, enough INT to keep your support cycle online, and enough DEX to stabilize HIT if you are not relying on critical dagger setups.

Esma Dex Bolter

Esma

This is the direct caster route. The goal is to maximize EsmaEsma damage while shortening cast time through high DEX. You open the three-second Esma window with EstinEstin, EstunEstun, or EskeEske, then dump Esma casts as fast as possible.



This route wants outside SP support or heavy self-sustain from KainaKaina, potions, and SP-oriented equipment because it burns resources much faster than the battle path.

Support Linker

Kaite

This route focuses on party utility instead of solo damage. The core tools are KaiteKaite, KaupeKaupe, KaizelKaizel, and the class spirit lines that enhance Wizards, Priests, Sages, Assassins, Rogues, and other key party members.



You give up some PvM convenience, but the class becomes extremely valuable in organized content where targeted buffs and protection matter more than raw solo speed.

Progression Notes

  • Battle linkers are easier to gear early, but Esma and support routes scale much better once your SP economy is solved.
  • KainaKaina is one of the first skills that stabilizes the class, regardless of whether you lean battle, caster, or support.
  • Your Ka skills have strict targeting rules unless another Soul Linker provides Soul Linker SpiritSoul Linker Spirit.
  • If you are still learning the retained Taekwon tools, keep the Taekwon guide nearby because Mild WindMild Wind remains a core part of Soul Linker damage logic.
