Cute Pet System
The Cute Pet System allows you to tame monsters and turn them into permanent companions. Pets provide stat bonuses at every intimacy level even while Shy or Cordial making them valuable from the moment you hatch them. Each pet has unique taming requirements, feeding costs, and maintenance needs, creating varied progression paths as you build your collection.
Taming
How to tame. Obtain a Cute Pet Taming Item (from monster drops or quest rewards), double-click it, then target the monster you want to tame. A slot machine animation will determine success. Failed attempts consume the taming item, while successful captures reward you with a Cute Pet Egg. Your stats and Provoke status have no effect on taming rates. Reducing the target's HP significantly improves your odds at 1% HP, the base capture rate can increase by approximately two-thirds.
Taming tips
- Example: Rocker has a 15% base capture rate, which rises to roughly 25% when the target is at 1% HP.
- Use
/skillsnapto make targeting monsters easier. - Apply Bleeding to safely reduce HP without killing (try
Skogul Card).

Raising
Hatch your egg using a Pet Incubator. Feed your pet by right-clicking it and selecting “Feed Pet.” For cost efficiency, only feed when the pet is Hungry. For faster intimacy gains, feed at Neutral status, but never feed when Satisfied or Stuffed. Pets display emotes after eating:
/ok when content, /hmm or /pif when overfed, and /omg when about to run away. You can rename your pet once via Alt+J. To store your pet, right-click it and return it to egg form equipped accessories will remain attached.

Mechanics
Newly hatched pets start with 100-399 intimacy, with higher-level pets beginning at lower values. Intimacy gains from feeding scale inversely with pet level lower-level pets gain intimacy faster. Intimacy decreases from overfeeding, owner death, and starvation, with the amount lost varying by pet state and evolution status.
| Intimacy | Range | Characteristics |
|---|---|---|
| Awkward | Below 100 | Ready to abandon its owner. |
| Shy | 100 – 249 | Uses unhappy emotes such as /pif and /wah. |
| Neutral | 250 – 749 | Uses friendly emotes such as /no1 and /ok. |
| Cordial | 750 – 909 | Uses affectionate emotes such as /lv and /kis. |
| Loyal | 910 – 1000 | Talks often and uses affectionate emotes. |
| Hunger Status | Range |
|---|---|
| Stuffed | 91 – 100 |
| Satisfied | 76 – 90 |
| Neutral | 26 – 75 |
| Hungry | 11 – 25 |
| Very Hungry | 0 – 10 |
Care reminders
- Hunger depletion rate varies by pet see the Pets chart below for specific values.
- Each feeding increases hunger by 20 points. Overfeeding (when above 80 hunger) reduces intimacy by 100.
- Auto-feeding increases intimacy but will not work if the RODEX window is open. Auto-feeding stops when you return the pet to its egg.
- Unevolved pets lose 20 intimacy when you die; evolved pets only lose 1.
- Starving pets (Very Hungry status) lose 20 intimacy every 20 seconds. Little Poring only loses 1 per interval.
- Returning a pet to its egg does not cause intimacy loss.
