Random Options Overview

Random Item Options are unique attributes generated when items drop from monsters. Each drop offers different enhancements—almost no two items are ever alike. Use Enchantment Scrolls to reroll and enhance options on your equipment; grades range from Low to High, with Rare scrolls ignoring equipment restrictions. Two-handed weapons receive double the power from random options.

What are Random Options

Enchantment Scrolls

Enchantment Scrolls are a unique equipment customization item in Age of Ymir. Every monster in the game has a chance to drop various scrolls, which can be used to reroll and enhance random options on your equipment, allowing players to fine-tune their gear for different builds and playstyles.

The interface where you use Enchantment Scrolls to reroll and enhance random options on your equipment. Double-click an Enchant Scroll, choose the piece of gear to modify, and get new random options by grade (Low, Medium, High). Rare scrolls ignore equipment restrictions. Two-handed weapons receive double the power from random options.

How it works:

• Double-click an Enchant Scroll, then select the piece of equipment to reroll.
• Grades (Low, Medium, High) determine the value range of options.
• Rare scrolls can roll any option on any equipment slot—see scroll families below.

Note: Any equipment (except mid/lower headgear) can be rerolled with Enchantment Scrolls.

Enchants are twice as powerful on two-handed weapons.

A scroll that enchants defensive equipment with low grade random options from Ymir's low-quality inscriptions. Provides a balanced mix of defensive and utility stats including HP/SP bonuses, regeneration, defense values, resistances, and hybrid offensive capabilities like reflect damage and melee/ranged damage bonuses.

Rare Low Grade Enchant Scroll

All equipment slots

A rare scroll that enchants any equipped gear with low grade random options, ignoring normal equipment restrictions. This opens up unique build possibilities—you could create a highly defensive weapon or an offensive shield. The combined offensive and defensive pool offers stronger ranges than standard Low Grade scrolls.

A scroll that enchants defensive equipment with medium grade random options from Ymir's medium-quality inscriptions. Features upgraded HP/SP bonuses, improved regeneration rates, enhanced defenses and resistances, with notably higher ranges on reflect damage, melee/ranged resistance, and hybrid offensive stats.

Rare Medium Grade Enchant Scroll

All equipment slots

A rare scroll that enchants any equipped gear with medium grade random options, ignoring normal equipment restrictions. Provides access to nearly the full Medium Grade pool on any slot, ideal for min-maxing single pieces with broad offensive and defensive stats, including class-level modifiers.
