Remnant Ant's Hell

Enter the fractured dreamscape of Maya's mind, distorted by hallucinations and memories. In this surreal zone, players must defeat remnant versions of ant-type monsters and ultimately challenge Worldbreaker Maya, a dream entity who reigns over this bizarre world. To summon the boss, parties must cleanse all five dream-poisoned zones scattered across the map. Difficulty randomization affects monster strength and reward bonuses.

Echo Rift Stone
How to enter

Ant’s Hell is a Minor Pulse Rift. Entry is made by using an Echo Rift Stone—the stone opens a random Minor Pulse Rift, which may be this instance.

  • Only the party leader can use the stone successfully.
  • Solo players must still create a party before using the stone.
  • Only party members present when the stone is used will have the instance created for them.

Rift Stones drop from monsters globally; see Obtaining Rift Stones for drop rates.

Ant's Hell Map
Step 1 - Enter the Rift
Form a party (or create one solo). Entrance to the rift is conjured via an Echo Rift Stone—for more information, see Rift Access. Select Ant’s Hell from the zone options. Difficulty is assigned automatically; each difficulty increases monster stats and rewards. Only the party leader can initiate. Enter the instance when ready.
Step 2 - Ymir Marks the Portals
Inside the rift, Ymir’s Voice announces that five portals have been marked for your leader. Five waypoints appear on your map. Remnant mobs (Remnant Deniro, Vitata, Andre, Piere) spawn across the map. Each portal is a white energy spot surrounded by Poison Mist—clear the mists and reach all five portal locations.
Step 3 - Close the Five Portals
Only the party leader can activate each portal. Touch the white energy at each location; a progress bar runs, then a wave of Remnant mobs spawns (Deniro at the first portal, Vitata at the second, Andre at the third, Piere at the fourth, and a mixed wave at the fifth). Defeat the spawned mobs to close that portal. Repeat for all five. Once every portal is closed, the Worldbreaker is summoned.
Step 4 - Defeat Worldbreaker Maya
Ymir warns: Be careful! I detect the Worldbreaker of this universe has come! Worldbreaker Maya spawns. Defeat her—during the fight, Ymir may briefly weaken her with Spatial Aura (10 seconds), then her combat ability returns to normal. When she falls, rewards are given and Ymir says the worldbreaker is dead and hopes their souls are at peace in Valhalla.
Step 5 - Leave or Explore
After the boss dies, Ymir’s Projection appears. Talk to her to either stay and explore the instance or choose Let’s go! to warp back to Aurelia.

Chronocite Party Rewards

Rewards in this rift come from two layers:

  • Completion rewards (per character): party members online and on the instance map receive guaranteed Chronocites and get completion roll chances (Entropy Codex / Blacksmith Blessing).

  • Rift boss drops: while clearing mobs, Paradox Shards can drop via two independent rolls:

    • Bundle roll (5× Paradox Shard): 0.2% for the killer; 0.1% for other party members.
    • Single roll (1× Paradox Shard): 1% / 3% / 5% / 7.5% / 10% (Easy → Torment). On Torment, party sharing is enabled at 50% of the killer chance.

For the global reward rules that apply across all Pulse Rifts, see Rift Rewards.

Strategy Tips

Tips & Strategies
  • Prioritize clearing the 5 Runestones before engaging the final boss.
  • Watch for hallucination mechanics and time your damage bursts.
  • Deal with add spawns during the Maya fight quickly before they overwhelm.
  • Heal and regroup between poisoned zones—higher difficulties scale monster damage significantly.
