Horror Toy Factory is a Major Pulse Rift. Entry is made by using an Apex Rift Stone—the stone opens a random Major Pulse Rift, which may be this instance.

  • Only the party leader can use the stone successfully.
  • Solo players must still create a party before using the stone.
  • Only party members present when the stone is used will have the instance created for them.

Instance Overview

Phase 1: clear escalating waves of haunted toys (waves and mob count scale by difficulty). Phase 2: defeat Deadwood and Anabelle to purify the workshop. Phase 3: confront Nicholas while he periodically summons minions—you can progress by defeating him or by eliminating enough minions. Phase 4: defeat Phantom Celine to open the path to the altar. Phase 5: defeat Celine Claus to complete the rift, roll completion rewards, and spawn boss corpse loot. A Lost Rift Traveller may appear after completion (10% non‑Torment / 60% Torment).

Step 1 - Phase 1: The Toy Parade (Waves)
Clear consecutive waves of haunted toys. Both the number of waves and monsters per wave scale with difficulty (Easy: 2 waves / 15 mobs → Torment: 6 waves / 30 mobs).
Step 2 - Phase 2: Forgotten Workshop (Dual Bosses)
Defeat both Deadwood (Haunting Tree) and Anabelle (Haunting Marionette) to unlock the next area.
Step 3 - Phase 3: Nicholas
Fight Nicholas while he periodically summons minions. If Nicholas is too dangerous to finish immediately, prioritize eliminating the summoned minions to force the encounter forward.
Step 4 - Phase 4: Phantom Celine
Defeat Phantom Celine to open the path to the altar.
Step 5 - Phase 5: Final Boss (Celine Claus)
Defeat Celine Claus to complete the rift, roll completion rewards, and spawn boss corpse loot. After completion, a Lost Rift Traveller may appear (10% non‑Torment / 60% Torment).

Chronocite Party Rewards

Rewards in this rift come from four layers:

  • Completion rewards (per character): party members online and on the instance map receive guaranteed Chronocites. Difficulty also affects completion roll odds for select rift rewards (e.g. Entropy Codex / Blacksmith Blessing).

  • Rift monster drops (during the run): waves and bosses can drop Paradox Shards via multiple independent rolls.

    • Bundle roll (2× Paradox Shard): 0.4% (killer) / 0.2% (party) base + difficulty bonus.
  • Boss corpse drops (party loot): bosses spawn corpse drops at their location with multiple independent rolls for rift loot—including Paradox Shards and Rift-exclusive gear. Some corpse drops are influenced by difficulty.

    Rift-exclusive gear: 1% base drop chance + difficulty mode bonus.

  • Lost Rift Traveller (optional): can spawn after completion (10% non‑Torment / 60% Torment).

Tips for Success
  • Phase 1 (Waves): bring strong AoE to clear waves quickly—both wave count and mobs per wave scale with difficulty.
  • Phase 2 (Dual bosses): you must defeat both bosses to progress.
  • Phase 3 (Nicholas): if Nicholas is too dangerous to finish immediately, prioritize the summoned minions to force the encounter forward.
  • Don’t miss loot rolls: completion rewards only apply to party members online and on the instance map; boss corpse drops are party loot and can include Paradox Shards and Rift-exclusive gear.
  • Difficulty matters: higher difficulty increases rewards and can improve certain drop outcomes—but also increases pressure during waves and bosses.
