Trivia Event

Overview

Trivia Event is an automated riddle event that runs on the even-hour mark. Each session presents players with a series of Ragnarok Online monster and item clues, and the first person to shout the correct answer wins the round. The full event lasts 15 rounds, with 2 Event Tickets awarded for every correct answer.

Tip: The script ignores capitalization, but spelling and spaces still matter for multi-word answers. Type quickly, because only the first correct shout gets the reward.

How To Join

Visit the Trivia Event Staff NPC in Aurelia at aurelia 150 129 and choose Join Trivia Event while registration is open. The NPC teleports players to the trivia floor on poring_w02, where the rounds are hosted.

NPC Information

The female Trivia Event Staff recruiter in Aurelia handles registration, explains the rules, shows the schedule, and warps players into the event. The male staff NPC remains on the trivia floor to host the rounds while the event is running.

• Each session contains 15 rounds of Ragnarok Online knowledge questions.
• Clues can reference either monsters or items, and the event explicitly labels the clue type in chat.
• Answers are submitted by shouting in chat; capitalization does not matter, but spelling still does.
• If nobody solves the clue before time expires, the script announces the correct answer and advances to the next round.
• The trivia floor uses a noskill mapflag, so the event focuses entirely on quick recognition and chat responses.
• After the final round, players are warped back to aurelia 192 117.

Note: The event script includes both monster and item riddle pools, so broad game knowledge is more valuable than memorizing a single category.
